Over-smoothing (Chapter 9) and over-squashing (Chapter 9) both limit deep GNNs, but for different reasons. Which mitigation strategy addresses both problems simultaneously?

The textbook covers both "transductive" and "inductive" learning settings in multiple chapters. In which setting is a GNN more likely to be deployed in a real production system, and why?
